2025 NBA Draft Grades: Pick-by-Pick Round 1 Analysis

2025 NBA draft started with a large surprise, high-level talent and some polarization decisions. Here's the details and grades of each round 1 pick:

1. Dallas Mavericks: SF Cooper Flag, Duke

Grade: A

There is a great two-way player in which there is the ability to immediately impact. Contributing flag and ready to move Mavericks to their next era.

2. San Antonio Spurs: PG Dayan Harper, Rutgers

Amazing selection Strong CBA numbers but risky. Suspicious fit with recently selected selected

17. Timberwolves (through piston): C Zone Beringer, France

Grade: A

Raw but elite physical equipment Being ready under Gobert is a smart long-term plan.

18. Jazz (through wizards): PG Walter Clayton Jr., Florida

Grade: A-

One of the best shooters in class. Ready to physically rescue. High Floor Pick

19. Nets (via box): PG Nolan Traore, France

Grade: B
