Marvel Unveils New Avengers Lineup for 'Avengers: Doomsday'!

During a high-profile Disney investor event, Marvel Studios dropped the first official look at the new Avengers team for the highly anticipated MCU blockbuster Avengers: Doomsday. The reveal has sent fans into a frenzy, especially those eagerly waiting for the massive crossover event in Phase 6 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.


The stunning poster showcased at the event features six core superheroes who will form the main Avengers lineup in the film:

  • Chris Hemsworth as Thor – The God of Thunder returns, ready to bring the storm like never before.
  • Paul Rudd as Scott Lang/Ant-Man – The pint-sized hero with giant wits, set to outsmart enemies once again.

This lineup appears poised to drive the Multiverse Saga forward, with Doctor Doom (played by Robert Downey Jr.) emerging as the central villain. Directed by the Russo Brothers — the duo behind Avengers: Endgame — the film is scheduled to hit theaters on May 1, 2026, followed by Avengers: Secret Wars.

Fans are losing it on social media. One user wrote, “Seeing the new Captain America leading the team gave me chills!” While some pointed out the absence of female heroes (like Captain Marvel or She-Hulk) in the poster, rumors strongly suggest they’ll appear in the movie.
