The Powerball jackpot has rolled over yet again, surging to an estimated $1.6 billion for the next drawing after no ticket matched all six numbers on Saturday night.

The winning numbers from the December 20, 2025, drawing were 4 - 5 - 28 - 52 - 69, with the red Powerball 20. The Power Play multiplier was 3x.
Although the grand prize went unclaimed, eight lucky players matched the five white balls to win $1 million each. Those tickets were sold in California, Florida, Iowa, Massachusetts, Michigan (two tickets), New Hampshire, and Ohio. No tickets won the $2 million prize with Power Play.
The jackpot, which entered Saturday's draw at $1.5 billion (cash option $689.3 million), now stands at $1.6 billion, with a cash option of $735.3 million. This positions it as one of the largest prizes in U.S. lottery history, potentially the fourth-largest Powerball jackpot ever if it continues to grow.

The next Powerball drawing is scheduled for Monday, December 22, 2025, at 10:59 p.m. ET. Fans can watch the live draw on the official Powerball website at powerball.com.
How to Play Powerball
A standard Powerball ticket costs $2. Players select five numbers from 1 to 69 (white balls) and one Powerball number from 1 to 26 (red ball).
- Add Power Play for $1 extra to multiply non-jackpot prizes by up to 10x.
- Add Double Play for $1 extra for a second chance to win up to $10 million.
The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 292.2 million, but matching just the Powerball wins $4.
