Tesla Robotaxi Fleet Breaks Record: 10 New Cars Added in a Single Day, Total Now 151 Vehicles on Roads!

Electric vehicle giant Tesla’s Robotaxi service has once again shown blazing-fast growth. The company’s Robotaxi fleet has now crossed 151 vehicles, with 122 operating in the Bay Area (California) and 29 in Austin (Texas). The most striking part? Roughly 10 new cars were added to the fleet in just one day!


According to the official X (formerly Twitter) post from Tesla Owners Silicon Valley, the fleet has now covered a total of 550,811 miles. In Austin, the service has achieved an impressive 93% hourly availability rate, highlighting its reliability. The fleet continues to expand rapidly, and just recently, CEO Elon Musk stated that the Austin fleet would “double next month” — it looks like that target is already well on its way.

Robotaxi Future: Unsupervised Launch in 2026?

This news comes at a time when Tesla is gearing up to launch a fully driverless (unsupervised) Robotaxi service in 2026. Experts believe this rapid scaling is a clear sign that the era of driverless transportation is about to begin.
