Top 10 Most Visited Websites in the World – November 2025: No Rank Changes, But Traffic Declines Across the Board

According to the latest report from digital analytics firm Similarweb, there was no change in the global top-10 website rankings in November 2025. However, every site in the top 10 recorded a month-on-month traffic drop compared to October. ChatGPT suffered the biggest decline at 5.21%, while X.com (formerly Twitter) was the least affected.

Google.com once again secured the top spot with a 19.67% traffic share and 82.28 billion monthly visits. YouTube.com held steady in second place with a 6.88% share and 28.79 billion visits. Facebook.com remained third, despite a 4.02% drop.

Similarweb noted that November traffic drops are a common trend. Most top-10 sites saw declines in November 2024 and all of them in November 2023. The company attributes this to seasonal effects, such as holiday preparations or shifting user focus.

ChatGPT’s sharp decline has sparked discussion on social media. Some users believe recent OpenAI updates or rising competition (e.g., Google Gemini) may be factors. One user commented, “ChatGPT is now bigger than Bing, but this drop is worrying.”

Similarweb’s CEO stated, “The data shows that maintaining digital traffic stability is challenging, especially in the rapidly evolving AI tool landscape.”
