Srinivas, who worked with Rajamouli in the 2007 film Yamadonga starring Junior NTR, made claims in a viral video and a suicide note sent to Metguda Police Station in Hyderabad on February 27, 2025.

Srinivas claimed that Rajamouli asked him to give up his love for the woman, which led to extreme and severe torture after Yamadonga. He said, "They ruined my life after becoming a big man. I am 55 years old and I have lived only one life," and requested the police to conduct a lie detection test on Rajamouli.
